Operational challenges

Operational teams used numerous solutions to manage technical data (CATIA, Infor, Infor, Qualipro, Qualipro, Helios, servers...) and product information was scattered across different systems, formats, or teams, making their management, access, and operation complex:

There was a risk of error in using poor applicable data due to a lack of traceability on the evolution of documents, data and product configurations.

Development cycle times were not optimized, teams (design office, industrialization, quality...) operated in silos and lost a lot of time on tasks with no added value.

Setting up Aletiq

The deployment of Aletiq at HUTCHINSON was done in an agile way to quickly create value and allow teams to embark on the transformation. After only a few weeks of the project, the first use cases were deployed and the adoption of teams accelerated sharply. The adoption of teams

Thanks to Aletiq, HUTCHINSON has set up a single source of truth for all of its technical data:

The Aletiq x CATIA CAD plugin allows design office designers to greatly simplify CAD data management: index management, check-in/check-out, multi-criteria searches, simultaneous editing, signature and validation circuits... The data is simply accessible and can be shared with all operational teams.

The Methods team centralizes the management of industrial files, tools, bills of materials and manufacturing ranges. Monitoring developments and managing configurations ensures compliance.

The interface between Aletiq and the INFOR XA ERP ensures the synchronization of data in real time to avoid errors related to double entries. The link between OFs (production orders) and configurations makes it possible to ensure traceability and to distribute applicable documents in the workshop. Operators thus have access to manufacturing plans in 3 clicks, and without the risk of index error!

The management of the Quality Management System is done directly in the platform. The teams digitized the management of technical change processes and were thus able to significantly reduce cycle times.
